Under the title UNPREDICTABLE, Peter Sandbichler is developing a room-sized installation made of recycled packaging material and a new work from the “Skull” series, extraordinary in its dimensions, for the unique exhibition hall of Kunstraum Dornbirn. Peter Sandbichler likes to use carton as the basic material for his installations, which he folds and assembles the individual elements as repeating modules to form huge sculptures. Sandbichler uses the title ambiguously in the sense of UNBECHENBAR, on the one hand in reference to art in general and on the other to himself as an artist.

from 7 May 2021.
