Heimspiel

The “Heimspiel” exhibition is a regionally anchored, high-quality art show that provides an inspiring insight into and partial overview of contemporary visual art in Eastern Switzerland and neighbouring Liechtenstein and Vorarlberg. The project is supported by the cultural departments of the participating cantons and countries.

The exhibition, which takes place every three years, offers a current cross-section of artistic creation from the regions of Eastern Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and Vorarlberg. Professional artists from the cantons of St. Gallen, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, Appenzell Innerrhoden, Thurgau, Glarus (new), the Principality of Liechtenstein and the federal state of Vorarlberg submitted their works, which were selected by an international jury. The exhibition venues are the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen and the Kunsthalle St. Gallen, with the Kunstmuseum Appenzell and the Kunstraum Dornbirn as new additions.

The Kunstraum Dornbirn will present works by Zora Berweger, Bildstein | Glatz, Marco Eberle, Christian Hörler, Lika Nüssli, Selina Reiterer, Christoph Rütimann, stöckerselig and Juliette Uzor, which will enter into an exciting dialogue in the historic assembly hall.

Vernissage Kunstraum Dornbirn: Thursday, 13.12.2019, 8 pm
