The fascinating artistic experimental set-ups of Thomas Feuerstein operate at the interface between artistic expression, applied science and practical philosophy. His projects combine insights from philosophy, art history and literature with biotechnology, economics and politics into an artistic narrative that negotiates questions about basic existential parameters and the origin of life. The project Club Cannibal is an extensive laboratory installation in which a complex process of transformation transmutes inorganic material into organic tissue.
