Fun and games during a two-week programme in the Stadtgarten Dornbirn. inatura, vai Vorarlberger Architektur Institut and Kunstraum Dornbirn are once again jointly inviting children to one of Dornbirn’s most beautiful areas. Children between the ages of seven and eleven can spend two weeks with us from Monday to Friday as young researchers, artists and architects.
Art educator Christa Bohle is running two weekly workshops at Kunstraum Dornbirn to accompany Michail Pirgelis’s exhibition:
Workshop 1: New Artworks from Found Objects
Michail Pirgelis creates artworks from old aircraft parts. He sands, polishes and reveals things that would otherwise remain hidden. Fascinating sculptures emerge, which we will explore together. Afterwards, you can experiment with different materials to create your own artworks, or even build flying objects. Fun and games are guaranteed!
Workshop 2: My Kunstraum
After a journey of discovery at Kunstraum Dornbirn, we’ll set out to uncover traces of past exhibitions. Inspired by the venue and the various artworks, you’ll have the chance to plan, design and create your own art space. A wealth of materials for creative work is at your disposal.
